Tracking user behaviour

How to track user behaviour with the 3 methods available in the web tracking SDK.

CrossEngage's web tracking SDK uses an event-based system to track user behaviour. To send these events to CrossEngage, you may use one of the following three methods, depending on the behaviour you would like to track.

This method is used to identify, create and update users.

This method is used to track page views and browser session information.

This method is used to track any user behavior other than identification and page views e.g. completed orders, cart views.

Allows you to give your users an option to opt-out of CrossEngage tracking by setting an opt-out cookie in user's browser.
